Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Mader Wedding in Pullman

This weekend we headed to Pullman for one of Marc's friend's wedding. JJ had been waiting for weeks to go there as Grandma and Grandpa got this train he could ride on. He was a little bummed because he forgot his engineer's hat. Jacob learned to ride it about 1/2 an hour before we headed back home.

Both boys enjoyed going out with Grandma in the mornings to water her flowers. Jacob discovered that throwing the rocks was a bit more fun, especially when you say "Uh, oh!"

I am sure many of you were doing something like this this weekend. Nothing like getting energy out before lunch and naps!

The wedding took place at the groom's farm. JJ is riding the tractor that the ring-bearer drove down the aisle. It was a beautiful location. They had two large tents with tables set up on the lawn and across the creek they cleared out a section of the wheat for the ceremony.
A view from our seats and our friends, the Hannan's. The biggest surprise at this wedding...a crop duster "buzzed" the audience at the end of the wedding. Well, it was supposed to be the end. They were in the middle of a song, but the plane had directions to fly over at a certain time. We were sitting in the middle of rolling hills and I could hear it coming. Imagine a plane popping over that hill in the picture (although it was the hill behind us) and about 3 seconds later it is 30 feet above your head. If I hadn't known about it, I probably would have screamed, ducked, and wet my pants! The guitar player did leap into the wheat! I felt like I was in a movie about to get hit by a plane. My only regret was not getting a picture!

Don't worry, it is only apple cider!

Another attempt at a family picture.
