Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

A Typical Day

Good Morning, Sugar Bean!
I realized that most of the pictures I have taken lately display a typical day of the boys and I. On the days that we do not have MOPS or Bible study, things seem to be in a normal routine. So...here is our day, starring the cutest little boys ever (in my opinion)!

I love bath time. After breakfast, Jackson usually gets in the shower with me and then we plug it up for them to take a bath. Jackson loves the bath so much that it gives me enough time to get Jacob and myself ready for the day.
Teaching Jacob how to splash.

Then we usually head downstairs for a bit and watch some sort of train movie, whether it is a Thomas video, Polar Express, or a railroad documentary. Yes, I did say documentary. If it has anything to do with trains, Jackson likes it. He also perfers to do his potty training in the AM. We don't go out of the house without diapers yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer. After Jacob wakes up from his nap, Jackson likes to crawl in and snuggle. Although, this snuggling usually last a total of 15 seconds.
Errands can be fun or exhausting with a toddler and an infant. I try to only go to one or two places, three is really pushing it! Costco is always a favorite, especially around lunch or dinner. There was a time when we would pull into the parking lot and JJ would ask for a hotdog. This picture happens to be Jacob's "maiden voyage" in a shopping cart. We also like to go to the library, as it has some toys, puzzles, and an ABC rug which JJ likes to run on while singing the ABC song. The kids section is a bit secluded from the rest of the library so you don't constantly have to be telling him to whisper.

Late afternoon, my least favorite time. I usually try to keep the boys busy while trying to figure out dinner. Although, I probably spend more time telling JJ not "love" his brother so much. He seems to think he can wrestle just like Daddy.

And after all are in bed, my friend, Kara, and I go and hangout with famous Christian authors. Just kidding, this is a picture from the Women of Faith conference that we (Mom, sisters, and now Kara)go to every year. Even though we did not have a book for Thelma Wells to sign, we thought we should take our picture with one of the key speakers!

Jacob's 6 Month Pictures

Not the best picture, but two year olds don't sit still for long!

Hello All! Well, I have too much fun taking the boys pictures on my own to go into a photo studio. So...here are Jacob's 6 month pictures. I don't have a great editting program on my computer, but did find a way to make some pictures look older (faded). So a few of the poses may have 3 looks, black & white, normal, or "old" as I call it. Those of you who want a picture, please let me know by Thursday so I can print them before we head to Pullman. I will number them, so just tell me the number that is above the one you want. Don't forget to tell me sizes!

Lots of Family

We just celebrated Marcus' grandparent's 60th anniversary! Here they are holding the 3 newest members of the family. Of course, mine is the one making a fuss! The party was at a private room at the Holiday Inn. Jackson was happy to be able to make use of the pool after a few hours of having to behave in a room with lots of "no, no's". No pictures of swimming since Mom was the lucky one who had to get in with him.

Jackson came out of his grandma's Cougar room wearing this helmet and assuming the hike position. It was a good laugh!

If you look closely at the picture, it is not Jackson in the helmet now, but his cousin. JJ is trying to tackle him. It is interesting how some of the cousins have similar looks.

Once again, Jacob and his cousin are the center of attention. They are starting to "interact" a bit more and are curious of each other.

Wait a minute! Who is the new guy?! These 3 cousins were each born about 3 months apart. I have a feeling that you will be seeing many more pictures with the three of them lined up!
Cutest little pumpkin heads ever!
Jacob must be wondering what these crazy moms are doing to them.
Jacob is ready to play with his newest cousin!
