Ryn 7 Months

Kathryn is 7 months today! My favorite new skill of hers is saying "Mama". I am not convinced she means me yet, but it is definitely going down in the books as her first word! She is on the verge of crawling, getting her knees under her and pushing forward. She seems to like any food I give her and is finally taking a bottle when I want her to...freedom!!

The sun finally came out and we have had two fun days of spending some time outside. This was her "maiden voyage" in the swing and she was thrilled.

Better get her some girly glasses!

This is a silly shot, but she looks so grown-up. Again, bittersweet for me.

Valentine's

Hope you all had a happy Valentine's Day! I have never been one to care about this day (and still don't too much) but found it to be a good excuse to give my kids a surprise in the morning and my hubby a good dinner. I am still new at making great steaks, but I must say they were good tonight! Couldn't help but display my dessert artwork too! :) So next year when you hear me complaining about this holiday, remind me to cook!

Our pastor has been focusing the last few weeks on John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." He remained on the topic of love for quite some time, and this Valentine's I hope you know God's love and can share a glimmer of it with others!

On a funny note, here are the boys enjoying dipping their fries in Valentine Pixie-Stix! Oh, what a healthy lunch! But... they did think I was the coolest mom ever!

Keeping Busy

I feel like we have constantly been on the go, yet not many pictures to show for it. I haven't blogged since Ryn's 6 month and she will be 7 next week! We have had lots of visitors the past few weeks. My sister and her daughters came for a weekend and she took Ryn's 6 months pictures (hoping to post some later). Then a few days later my folks came to visit, and then the day after they left my friend Kara and her daughter stayed for 2 days! We love having company!

Kathryn really took a liking to my dad. They would sing and dance, and just have some good old "conversations"!

(Why I am in a different color again, I would love to know!)

Kara and I are always trying to get a good pic of the girls. One of these days I am sure we will!

Jackson and Jacob loved keeping Sierra busy. She did really well with them, except when they tried to included her in a wrestling match!
