It was my plane-loving boy's lucky day this weekend! A client of Marcus' let us come look at his plane and see the new building where private pilots relax during their down-time from flying. This was, of course, right on the runway at the airport where we saw a few planes practicing their take-offs and landings. JJ and Jacob got to sit in the passenger seats in his plane and loved every minute!
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Late Summer Picture
Earlier in the summer I did a post about Marc's friend Kevin Mader. He got married in the middle of one of his wheat fields and as a surprise had a crop-duster "buzz" us toward the end of the ceremony. The picture finally came in and I wanted you all to see how low this thing was! We also think this is when JJ decided to fall in love with planes. The first picture in the first fly over. I was in the back row, knew about it, and still had my heart jump!

Here it comes again! Everyone is a little more excited this time.

Christmas '08
We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. We were very busy "touring" the state. We heading to my parents on Christmas Eve and stayed there until the 2nd. My sister and her family and my grandma stayed with us for a few days so we could all be together Christmas morning. Jackson is very much into Christmas now and Jacob is learning. We did many activities with the boys, as you will see below, and did a lot of lounging around the house. Those of you who could not figure out the elf dance in the last post, we are expecting our 3rd child in July, which made for a very tired Mom throughout vacation!
Playing with decorations
The gift that won't go in the snow! But it sure is fun to sit in as we put it together!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!
Jackson is patiently waiting to come up and open his stocking!
Jacob is happy too!
CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Jackson was thrilled to be a pilot!
What do these do?
I love this picture!
Waterworks
My mom loves to ice skate, so it is only fitting that she be the first to take JJ. He was pretty wobbly at first, even with a bucket to hold onto, but was doing well after awhile. I think he only went around the rink about 4 times, but that took almost an hour!
