The kids and I headed off for a road trip in order to be out of the house for hardwoods to be installed in our kitchen. Our first stop was Portland to stay with some friends that moved there 2 years ago. It was SO great to see them!

We left Portland after lunch and quick shopping at IKEA and made our way to Tacoma to see some more friends that we miss so much!

We made it up to Mom and Dad's around 9:30pm completely exhausted but happy. The drive through Seattle at night was beautiful and not something my kids usually get to see.
