Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Stop in Seattle

We spent a few days at my parents and had a few nights where my sister and her kids were there also.  The boys had more birthday celebrations, here playing one of their new games.

The sun came out a few times, enough to make it down to the beach.

This man spent about 10 minutes feeding the seagulls out of his hands!

An advantage of the boys having birthdays close together is using their free kids meals at the same time!  Ryn must have felt left out as she decided to steal Jacob's cherry while the waiters were singing!

Grandma and I took the kids to the Science Center and had a great time even though we were "fighting" the spring break crowd.

My friend Jodi and her daughter, who is a few months older than Ryn, met us for lunch and some playtime.

Ryn loved the dinosaurs!

Is my girl teaching bad things?  Hmmmm.

We celebrated my sister's 40th at her sister-in-laws.  No funny jokes or black balloons, but a nice catered dinner and family.

It was a fun evening before we left around 10:30 and made it home around 12:30.  I usually don't like night driving, but it seemed to be the pattern.  The drive through the mountains was beautiful, staring at God's creation as the full moon was reflecting off the snow.  My kids did great on this whirlwind trip and now we are thankful to be back to normal at home!
