Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Interrupted Halloween

Well, our Halloween weekend had a few interruptions. Jacob got sick on Saturday afternoon, which caused him, Dad, and Ryn to stay behind from a fun cider party Jackson was invited to by one of his school friends. He must have had the 24 stomach flu, as he was fine on Sunday.

Jacob, Ryn and I stayed home from church to be safe and started our finishing touches when JJ returned with Dad. The boys were knights and we decorated pie plates stuck to bags for their shields.

Jacob finishing his pumpkin that he didn't get to do at the cider party.

Ready to go to the Koethke's for dinner.

A Ballerina and a Scarecrow
We went to a few houses around the Koethke's neighborhood before heading to the Harvest Party at church. On the way, Jackson said he didn't feel well and soon had a plastic bag waiting for "goodies". We headed home, with a very devastated boy, picking up a movie to try to brighten his spirits. It is a good thing we went home!

Who cares about sick brothers...Ryn was still in party mode!
The apples that would remain uneaten!
