We headed to Florida for Christmas this year, along with the rest of my family from Washington. My 5 went to Orlando for the first five days while everybody else, including my sister's family that lives in Tampa, went on a cruise. Then we all stayed together in Clearwater for 5 days.
We left home at noon and started our 15 hour journey to Florida. We had to drive to Seattle, fly to San Diego, and eventuallly land in Orlando at 6 am. After getting our rental car and driving to our hotel, we were able to check-in early, have breakfast, and head to bed!
After our long naps, I went to get some groceries and the kids were ready to swim when I returned. Our hotel had a great pool area with 2 water-slides, lazy river, and splash pad. We had to drag them out to head to Sea World for a few hours in the evening. We really enjoyed the evening and were happy to see Christ was in the center of their holiday specials. For some reason, I only have video of Sea World!
Jacob's Christmas countdown he insisted on bringing...then never used!
