Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

Disneyland- Day 5

Our last day at the park and only a few "have to's" left on the list. Jackson found the MadHatter again and asked if he remember him. His answer was, "Well, of course I do!", in a high squeaky voice. Then JJ wanted to know where his friend the rabbit was, so MadHatter sent us on a search to find him!

Tiki room was a great spot to get out of the little rain that was coming, my only complaint was that the Dole Whip stand was not open yet...a heavenly treat!

As Jackson and Marcus went to get fastpasses for Splash, we did a little browsing in Adventureland. Isn't he a cute Indy?
Jackson was fine with trying Indy, but as we got closer and closer to the ride he wasn't as thrilled.

Right before we got on...he did not like this ONE ride!

To bring JJ back to happiness, we headed to Big Thunder again, which had just open so there was no line...again!
At this point in the morning, the park was getting a little more full. It was the official "Gay Day", which brought in a lot more people. We decided to get a spot early for the Star Wars show. At this point, the boys did not want to participate, so I had asked some folks at a table if they were leaving soon, and we had perfect seats to see the show and have lunch. But..."Do to strong forces of inclement weather against the Jedi's, the show was cancelled." Bummer. So we ate our lunch and were about to take pics with the Star Wars crew (what they do if the show is cancelled) and a cast member had already closed the line. Double Bummer.
Now Jackson wanted to be in the show, so we wait for about 40 minutes at the start of the line to get good seats on the floor. A well worth wait as he was one of the kids picked!
Learning his moves.
Ready to fight Darth Vader. He went all out and did great!
The social bug that he is decided to have a conversation with a Jedi trainer at the end of the performance. That Kid!

A few Halloween Time characters.
Jafar
Malificent?

Mom, Jacob, and Ryn did a few rides in Fantasyland while JJ, Dad, and I did Matterhorn, again.
Jacob had wanted to be in the monkey cage, so he finally got his wish. I love this pic of Ryn.

One of my "musts" was to get a family pic by the castle... in the day! The last couple trips we had always forgotten to do this. We did leave it to the last 10 minutes before leaving Disneyland AND the sun was in our eyes. Guess we will have to go back!

We hopped aboard the ever-useful old time cars to take us back down Main Street. Don't the boys look "done".

One more family pic.

Minnie is posing away as the rest of us are trying to get it together! The shot where we were looking is blurry!
From here, JJ still had a few rides he wanted to hit again, Mansion and Splash. So Marcus and JJ hopped on the train and the rest of us headed over to DCA to go see Playhouse Disney. I had never seen this show but knew Jacob would love it. He and Ryn both enjoyed it, especially when bubbles or confetti came from the ceiling. Mom and I really enjoyed SITTING in the air conditioned room!

Snack Time!
We all met up again to go into our last part that we hadn't been yet. There is a gigantic playground area themed around the Redwood Creek. It is a great place to let the kids climb, jump, touch, whatever!

We said good-bye to Disney in the afternoon and headed to Vallie's, our cheuffeur(sp?), to drop us at the airport. This isn't a great shot of Jacob, but I stuck it in to remember how much they love the maps! They are still looking at them at home.

A very good and exhausting trip that we won't soon forget!

Okay, okay. So I have my evil queens wrong! I am either not brushed up on princess movies or I shun evil! :)
